Why is mold growing in my home?
Molds are part of the natural environment. Outdoors, molds play a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees, but indoors, mold growth should be avoided. Molds reproduce by means of tiny spores; the spores are invisible to the naked eye and float through outdoor and indoor air. Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet. There are many types of mold, and none of them will grow without water or moisture.

Can mold cause health problems?
Molds are usually not a problem indoors, unless mold spores land on a wet or damp spot and begin growing. Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins). Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Allergic responses include hay fever-type symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, red eyes, and skin rash (dermatitis). Allergic reactions to mold are common. They can be immediate or delayed. Molds can also cause asthma attacks in people with asthma who are allergic to mold. In addition, mold exposure can irritate the eyes, skin, nose, throat, and lungs.
Bactronix specializes in fighting the invisible enemy. What is the invisible enemy? The invisible enemies are microscopic organisms, too small for the eye to even see, that live and thrive in areas of water. These microbes, like mold, mildew and other harmful bacteria can then present multiple problems and diseases for us, our employees and our families.
Our Services

Air Duct Cleaning
Air duct cleaning is the thorough cleaning of various components of forced air systems that heat and cool your home. This process typically includes cleaning the supply and return ducts, registers, diffusers, system coils, condensate drain pan, fan motor, and the cabinetry that houses the system.

Mold Testing & Assessment
A mold test is a procedure used to detect the presence of mold spores in the environment, assess indoor air quality, and identify potential health risks associated with mold exposure.

Mold Treatment
Mold thrives in damp environments, so the first step is to identify and fix any sources of moisture, such as leaks, condensation, or high humidity levels. Ensure proper ventilation in areas prone to moisture, like bathrooms and kitchens.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning is the process of removing lint and debris from the dryer vent system to improve dryer efficiency and reduce fire hazards.

Many cleaning companies indicate they can disinfect your property. At Bactronix, our proprietary cleaning solution and delivery system is scientifically proven to remove 99.9% of germs, viruses and bacteria…and we can prove it to you!
