Bactronix helps keep indoor mold, mildew and air pollutants from affecting patients in health care facilities and medical offices across the Lowcountry, from Summerville and Goose Creek down to Charleston. A facility is priced on a walkthrough, not off a table.

Why it matters in health care settings
Controlling moisture and relative humidity in health care facilities and medical offices is important, since the presence of moisture and dirt can let mold and other biological contaminants thrive. Relative humidity that runs too high can contribute to the growth and spread of unhealthy biological pollutants, as can a failure to dry water-damaged materials promptly, usually within 24 hours, or to maintain equipment that holds water, such as humidifiers, refrigerators and ventilation equipment.
Pollutants can also spread throughout a building by moving through stairwells, elevator shafts, wall spaces, and utility chases, so special ventilation or other control measures may be needed for some sources. Dampness is the presence of unwanted, excessive moisture in a building, and it can lead to the growth of mold, fungi, and bacteria, the release of volatile organic compounds, and the breakdown of building materials.
Different mold species adapt to different moisture conditions, which is why the practical thing to control is the water, not the species. Observations of dampness, water damage, mold, or mold odor are what a facilities team can act on.
What Bactronix does about it
We find the water first. The EPA says it plainly: the key to mold control is moisture control (source). Then the surfaces get cleaned, and then they get treated with BactroKill Plus, an EPA-registered antimicrobial, EPA Reg. No. 82972-1-90746, applied by the Bactronizing electrostatic process, which puts a charge on the droplets so they wrap around a surface instead of landing only on the side facing the nozzle.
Waiting rooms, treatment rooms and the handles everybody touches come first. The visit is planned around your hours rather than ours.
Where nobody can find the source, mold testing takes air or surface samples and sends them to a lab. It is quoted rather than posted, because the number depends on how many samples get taken and where.
Guarantee terms for a commercial job come with the quote, in writing, alongside the price. On a house the treatment carries a 12-month limited guarantee: if what we treated comes back inside a year and no water or moisture was reintroduced to the area, we come back and re-treat it.
What it costs
A walkthrough first, then a price off the building. Call 843-282-7777 or send us a message and we will set one up. The posted prices on this site are the residential ones: a house is priced by the size of the house, with a $200 minimum job.
