The Grand Strand and the Lowcountry
Same owner, two operations. Greg has run Bactronix on the Grand Strand, the Myrtle Beach area, and he owns that side too. Bactronix of the Lowcountry is his operation down here.
Bactronix took Lowcountry calls out of Myrtle Beach for years. Myrtle Beach to Summerville is about two hours each way, so work down here had to be fitted around the drive. The Lowcountry runs as its own operation now, based here, with the same owner, the same certifications and the same insurance behind it.

Who is doing the work
Greg is a Certified Residential Mold Inspector and a Certified Commercial Mold Inspector, certified in mold remediation, and a member of the National Association of Mold Remediators and Inspectors. He is also a Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician. The certifications are his own.
What we do
Four jobs carry a posted price: whole-home disinfection for mold, air duct cleaning and treatment, dryer vent cleaning and mold testing.
- BactroKill Plus, an EPA-registered product, EPA Reg. No. 82972-1-90746, applied with an electrostatic sprayer. Bactronix calls that process Bactronizing.
- You see the price before anyone comes out, and it is the same number on the invoice.
- A 12-month written guarantee on the invoice. If what we treated comes back inside the year, we come back and re-treat it. It transfers if you sell the house.
- Veteran owned. Licensed and insured.
How we work
The goal is to get the musty smell out of the house. We look for the moisture first. We clean the growth off. Then we treat the surfaces it grew on.
This is treatment, not structural mold remediation. It does not fix an active leak, and moisture that is still wet can grow mold again. If we find water coming in, we tell you before we spray.
What it costs
Whole-home disinfection is $0.30 per heated square foot, with a $200 minimum. Air duct cleaning and treatment is $50 a vent on the same visit, however many you have, with no extra minimum. Booked alone, air duct cleaning and treatment starts at $399. Dryer vent cleaning is $50 added to a visit, or $99 on its own. Mold testing is $350 for two lab samples and $450 for four. No trip charge. You pay on the day.
