The short answer. This site collects what you type into one of its forms, and it keeps a plain tally of two things people do here. There is no advertising, no advertising pixel, no cross-site advertising profile, and no account to create. What you send is saved on this website and emailed to me, along with the date, the time and the IP address it came from, which is the evidence that you asked to be contacted. There is no text messaging here at all.

What this site collects, and when
Nothing about you is collected by visiting. Collection happens only when you submit a form, and every form on this site tells you what it is for before you fill it in.
When you send an inquiry or ask for a quote, the site records your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, how you described yourself, anything you typed into a free-text field, the address of the page you submitted from, and the date and time.
There is no comment system, no forum, no newsletter sign-up that runs outside the form above, and no visitor registration. You cannot create an account here, because there is nothing to log in to.
The two things this site counts
Two actions add a line to a tally kept on this website: tapping the phone number, and running the price calculator. The line records six things and no more: the date and time, which of the two it was, the address of the page it happened on, and, for the calculator, the size of the house in square feet if that is what was priced, the number of vents if that was, and whether the dryer vent box was ticked. That is the whole record.
What is deliberately not in it: your IP address, your browser, where you came from, and any identifier of any kind. No cookie is set for this and nothing is stored in your browser. Two taps by you and one tap each by two other people are indistinguishable in that table, on purpose, so there is no way to work backwards from it to a person. It exists so I can see whether the website is producing work, which is a question about the website rather than about you.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted at all. That is checked before anything else happens, and no line is written.
The counts are kept on this website and are sent to no one. There is no analytics account behind them and no third party involved.
What sending a form agrees to, and what it records
There is no consent checkbox on this site, because there is nothing here that needs one. Sending a form is a request to be answered, and that is the only thing it agrees to. This is the wording shown on the form itself:
Sending this form asks Bactronix of the Lowcountry to call you about your inquiry, and to write back by email as well if you left an address. Nothing here signs you up to a text message, a mailing list or a marketing call, and your details are never sold or shared for advertising.
Alongside your inquiry the site stores that you asked to be contacted about it, the date and time you sent it, and the IP address your request came from at that moment. That is the evidence behind the reply, and it is the reason the record exists.
This site sends no text messages. The published phone number is a landline that cannot receive or send one, so no marketing text, no appointment text and no automated message goes out from here, and there is nothing for you to reply STOP to. The database that holds inquiries still carries a text-message consent column and a disclosure-version identifier (currently tcpa-2026-06) from before that box was removed on September 2, 2026; nothing written since then sets either one. If texting is ever added, the box comes back, unchecked, with its own wording, and this paragraph changes with it.
To stop hearing from me, say so by email or phone and I will act on it.
Where it goes
Everything you submit is saved to a database table on this website first, before anything is sent anywhere else, and is then emailed to me. That order is deliberate: the record is mine and yours, and it survives any other service being switched off.
No customer relationship management system is connected to this site at the moment, so no copy of your inquiry is sent to any third party. If that changes, this paragraph will name the service, because it is read from the site’s settings rather than written by hand.
If a delivery fails, the site retries it a limited number of times with an increasing delay and then falls back to email. It keeps a short log of those attempts so a lost inquiry is visible rather than silent. Any credential used to make the delivery is stripped out of that log before it is written.
Nothing here is sold, rented, or shared for advertising. There is no data broker in this picture.
Cookies
This site sets no cookie of its own on a visitor. Google Analytics does set its own, and the next section says what it records. There is no advertising cookie and no cross-site advertising profile. WordPress itself sets cookies for people who log in to administer the site; visitors never do.
Analytics and content loaded from elsewhere
This site loads Google Analytics 4, which records the pages you visit and how you arrived, and which sets its own cookies under Google’s terms.
The fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts this site uses are served from this site, with one exception: the Google Analytics tag named above is fetched from Google, so opening a page here does tell Google that you visited. Nothing else is fetched from a font network, a script CDN, or an embedded widget. A link you choose to click that leaves for another site is that site’s business from the moment you click it.
The company that hosts this website keeps ordinary server access logs, as every web host does. Those logs are the host’s, they are kept to their schedule, and I do not analyze them.
Keeping the forms usable
To stop automated abuse, the site allows 10 submissions from the same internet address in any 10 minutes. It does this by keeping a counter under a one-way hash of that address, which expires by itself after 10 minutes. The address itself is not stored for this purpose, and the counter is not linked to anything you submitted.
There is no CAPTCHA on this site and no puzzle to solve, because a puzzle is a barrier to the reader as often as it is to the machine.
How long any of this is kept
I will be straight with you about this, because most policies are not. Inquiries are kept until I delete them. Nothing on this site expires them automatically, and there is no scheduled clear-out. In practice that means a record stays until you ask me to remove it or I no longer have a reason to hold it.
The consent record attached to an inquiry is the one part I have a reason to keep for longer, because it is the evidence that you agreed to be contacted.
Asking me for a copy, a correction, or a deletion
Ask and I will do it. There is no automated self-service tool on this site for exporting or erasing your record, so I handle these by hand rather than pretending a button exists. Email or call me on gbusang@bactronixsc.com or (843) 282-7777 and tell me what you want done. I will confirm when it is finished.
You can also simply stop. There is no account to close and no list you have to be removed from unless you asked to join one.
Children
This site is for homeowners, landlords and property managers booking HVAC mold treatment. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent something through a form here, tell me and I will delete it.
Who is responsible for this
I am. The business name, address and phone number are at the foot of every page on this site, including this one, and the contact details there reach me directly. Questions about this page go to the same place: gbusang@bactronixsc.com or (843) 282-7777.
Tell us about the house
Send us the house and the price comes back in writing before anyone comes out.
