What it costs
A house has a posted price. The whole-house treatment is priced by the size of the house, with a $200 minimum job, and you have the number before anyone comes out. Vents on their own are $50 each with a $399 minimum, and that minimum comes off when the vents go on a whole-house job.
A commercial building gets a walkthrough rather than a posted price, because the floor plan, the hours we can work and the order we work in all change the job. Nothing is quoted until someone has seen it.
